ABOUT MY CAMPAIGN
About me
I am Tulasi Suna, 50 years old. I have been married for 25 years and together we have 2 children. I am a housewife and have never had a paid job.
My business
With my company, I will manufacture paper plates and bowls. The machine needed for this can be at home, which will allow me to work from home. I want to attract different types of customers, such as people organising weddings or other parties, hotels, event managers and wholesalers. In my immediate area, there is no one else making this, so I can build my own customer base here. I can produce this myself, no other employees are needed. Should I still be in need of help, my husband is willing to assist.
My dream
Starting a production company for paper plates has long been my dream. At my mother's house, I was already making paper plates by hand. Nowadays, everything is automatic. I have already had the opportunity to practice operating an automatic paper plate machine in a company a few times. I have studied this way of doing business and see that others earn a good income this way. Therefore, I would also like to set this up myself.
My environment
We have our own house. This is where I live with my husband and both my children. We have a small piece of land where we grow rice for our family. My husband used to work as a contractor. He retired ten years ago, then we as a family ran into financial difficulties. Currently, we are financially dependent on our children. But I don't want to be a burden to my sons. Therefore, I would like to earn my own income.
My finances
As a family, we have to live on ₹6000 (€75) a month. With this production business, I expect to succeed and make ₹10,500 (€131) per month in profit in the first year. After that, I expect this to increase to around ₹14,700 (€184) per month.
