ABOUT MY CAMPAIGN
About me
My name is Pinki Soren. I am 32 years old. I am married, and we have one daughter. She is 13 years old and now attends a local public school.
My business
I would like to start a small shop in front of my house, where I will sell all kinds of affordable goods, even for people with small wallets. I want to be cheaper than other shops so that villagers can do their shopping with me. I want to sell different products, such as perishables, vegetables, stationery, and drugstore products.
My dream
My dream is to become financially independent. And also to be an example to my daughter in this and offer her the same.
My environment
Our living conditions are tough. From my wedding day, I live with my husband, father-in-law, mother-in-law and my daughter in a mud house. My husband is out of work; he is now unemployed, but my father-in-law does some work and thus provides some food. When my husband became unemployed, I started a general grocery shop at my doorstep, but due to lack of goods, I quit. Now our entire household depends on my father-in-law's income.
My finances
We have no family income. We live on the little bit of money my father-in-law earns. Since my shop is in the village, I expect to make a profit of about ₹5000 (€65) a month in the beginning. In time, this will grow to about ₹10,000 (€130) a month.

I am Pinki Soren and would like to start a shop.
Campaign status
UPDATE
In April 2023, I opened my own shop. First in a room in the courtyard. Two months later, I moved to the front of the house, making the shop even more visible. Business is going well and I keep trying to expand my range.
