Each woman supported by Purple receives guidance from our business coach. She helps them submit the application form, write a business plan and start the business once the micro grant is awarded. For the first three years, the business coach stays involved and supports the Purple Businesswoman in areas where needed. The goal is for the woman to be able to continue her business independently after three years.
Many of these women dropped out during or just after elementary school and did not pursue further education. In addition, many women have no entrepreneurial experience. This brings challenges in counseling. Most women lack basic knowledge and skills to properly manage their business independently. Examples include, bookkeeping, attracting new customers, and growing their business.
With our counseling, we reduce the chances of a woman prematurely ceasing her business activities. We encourage successful entrepreneurship and help build a promising future. By contributing to the development of these women, we empower them to take responsibility for their own businesses. By providing women with the necessary knowledge and expertise, we significantly increase the chances of a successful business. This is why we offer the Purple Business Training Program. In this track, women are equipped with knowledge and skills in the field of entrepreneurship and learn to apply these directly within their own businesses.
By 2025, we want to give 24 women the opportunity to take the Purple Business Training. This training consists of 2 on-site training days and 10 online training moments via Google Meet. It costs € 293 for one woman to take this education for a year. A total of €7,042 is needed. This amount is made up as follows:
€ 462 - Educational materials
€ 4,556 - Development and training
€ 360 – Accommodation
€ 1.010 – Travel expenses
€ 318 – Catering
€ 335 - Unforeseen expenses
