My story
ABOUT MY CAMPAIGN
About me
I am married and a mother of two children. Together with my husband, children, parents-in-law, and disabled sister-in-law, we live with seven people in one house. My husband works as a house painter. I only completed primary school and have never worked outside the home before, but I am determined to contribute to our family income.
My business
My dream is to set up Shruti Dairy Farm, a small-scale dairy farm with three cows. I want to sell fresh milk to local families, tea stalls, and farmers, and also sell cow dung as a natural fertilizer. By taking good care of the animals and offering honest service, I aim to become a reliable supplier of fresh milk in my community. My ambition is to grow the business over the next two years to six dairy cows and three calves, so I can provide even more families with fresh milk.
My dream
My greatest wish is to be financially independent, to provide my children with a good education, and to give my family a dignified life. I hope my business can grow so that I can keep more cows in the future and increase my income.
My environment
We live in a small village, far from the city. Life is simple and people mainly depend on agriculture. We do not own any land ourselves. In our village, there are very few opportunities for women to earn an independent income. With my business, I want to change that.
My finances
Op dit moment is ons gezinsinkomen beperkt tot ongeveer ₹8.000 per maand (ongeveer €96). Met mijn melkveebedrijf verwacht ik in het eerste jaar een winst van ongeveer ₹32.200 (ongeveer €386). In het tweede jaar kan de winst groeien tot ongeveer ₹2,80,600 (ongeveer €3.367), doordat de melkproductie en afzet stijgen. Deze inkomsten maken het mogelijk om te sparen, te investeren in de toekomst van mijn kinderen en het bedrijf verder uit te breiden.
Het doelbedrag van mijn campagne is € 3.367 en is als volgt opgebouwd:
