ABOUT MY CAMPAIGN
About me
I`m Arpita, and I`m 19 years old. I grew up in an hostel. I`m currently doing my graduation.
My business
Although I didn't have any previous job, I'm experienced in sewing, especially hand-sewing and crafting. I like doing it and I`m good at it. I would like to make a living out of it.
Sewing business is a profitable business in India. Everybody requires to wear something in order to cover their body and sewing can fulfil that requirement.
My dream
I would like to become financially independent and run a successful business.
My environment
I`m currently living in an hostel. I was raised here.
My finances
At the moment I have no income myself. With the sewing workshop I expect to earn ₹5000 (€62,-) a month.
The amount of my campaign is structured as follows:
€104 – Purchase of a sewing machine
€78 – A table and 4 chairs
€65 – Equipment, like scissors, iron and a measuring tape
€78 – Running materials for 6 months, like fabric, thread, pins and needles
€ 33 – Travel expenses business coach
€65 – Coaching by Purple

I`m Arpita and I would like to start a sewing centre.
Campaign status
UPDATE
The target amount has been reached! On November 12, 2022, I bought a sewing machine, furniture, equipment and fabrics together with the business coach. Within the hostel where I live, a room has been cleared out, which I can use for my sewing shop. I'm setting this up right now. In the coming time I will raise awareness to attract customers so that I can get started.
